The Dragon Fists of Smorty Smythe is the story of a Monk who leaves the sanctity of his monastery and becomes dragged into hair-raising adventures by his surrogate family. His escapades are a spoofing homage to schlocky 70’s Kung-Fu films, 80’s action movies, classic old-timey comedies and pulp novel detective stories. Think Popeye the Sailor meets Enter the Dragon.

Creator – Mike ‘Emjar’ Robinson

Mike ‘Emjar’ Robinson has been cartooning since he could hold a pencil and was inspired by classic cartoons like Popeye and Jonny Quest, comics like Dick Tracy, Li’l Abner and Asterix the Gaul and The Adventures of Tintin with the way they combined comedy and adventure. He’s a fan of The Three Stooges, The Marx Bros. and Jackie Chan.
