The Comic
Across universes, the Almighty Protectors have adventures to help those in need, whether they want to or not. With varying degrees of desire to even wear a costume, the team has the fundamental binding force of being family and friends.
These characters include four college students who have been swept into this by happenstance, a bookstore clerk and superhero fan who drives their endeavors to have costumes and code names, a mysterious human-like individual with no memory of their past and is the impetus for much of their adventures, and the traitor to the team and the only one of them who knows the traitor’s duplicity and is trying to find a way to reveal it.
The Creators
Ave Messer is a writer, first and foremost, who has been teaching herself art in order to actually bring her comics to life. However, she only ever began to enjoy making art when she started getting her drawings somewhere in the vicinity of decency. She’s still learning, however. But aside from her comic endeavors, she lives in Redding, California, struggling to eke out an even decent living, hoping one day the elusive full-time job will hire her. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Humboldt State University and hopes to one day publish her first novel. Her writing and art veers more towards LGBT characters, and ultimately her primary audience is those in said community, she herself being the L and the T in there.
